The Role

This role involves providing level 2 technical support to customers, handling support calls and emails, and troubleshooting complex issues. In addition to customer support, this position will also assist other business functions such as technical sales, marketing, and product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding promptly to customer requests for assistance and resolving their queries efficiently.
  • Developing comprehensive documentation, guides, and FAQs to minimize future support requirements.
  • Creating high-quality technical briefs for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conducting thorough research, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical problems.
  • Providing training to customers and team members on technical topics.
  • Evaluating products for quality assurance purposes.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience working across multiple IT departments.
  • Experience in direct customer-facing roles.
  • Strong understanding of IT hardware, networking, databases, software design, and integrations.
  • Proficiency in virtualization technologies.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in documentation and technical writing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
