Job Overview:

This role is focused on developing and executing a comprehensive intellectual property strategy aligned with business objectives.

  • Drive the development of a global IP portfolio across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize IP-related strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Evaluate and mitigate IP risks associated with innovation and expansion.
  • Provide expert advice on IP matters to senior leadership.
  • Review, negotiate, and draft IP-related clauses in commercial agreements.
  • Lead internal teams through IP best practices, ownership, and protection strategies.
  • Oversee and coordinate global IP dispute resolution efforts.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of post-qualification experience in intellectual property law.
  • Proven track record in strategic IP planning, including both contentious and non-contentious work.
  • In-depth knowledge of patent, trademark, trade secret, and copyright law across major jurisdictions.
  • Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives.
