The Electrical and Engineering Department is seeking a skilled educator to inspire future Electrical Trades students. With the opportunity to teach across three qualifications, you will be able to showcase your expertise in electrical and appliance servicing classes.

Key responsibilities include delivering A grade and non-A grade licensed electrical units. The ideal candidate will have current industry knowledge relevant to the training and assessment being delivered, with an emphasis on current technology and industry practice.

In this role, you will convey knowledge, skills, and experience to a diverse student population through the selection and use of teaching assessment strategies.

The successful candidate will have relevant trade qualifications in Electrical and Appliance Servicing, including A grade and non-A grade licensed electrical units, as well as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE 40122 or equivalent predecessor or successor qualifications.

About You
  • Current industry knowledge directly relevant to the training and assessment being delivered.
  • Experience as a teacher of vocational and/or higher education and training programs.
  • Ability to convey knowledge, skills, and experience to a diverse student population.
  • Relevant trade qualifications in Electrical and Appliance Servicing.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE 40122 or equivalent predecessor or successor qualifications.
