IT Systems Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Director to lead our technology team and drive the strategic use of technology to enhance business operations. As a key member of our organization, you will oversee all aspects of the company's technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, cybersecurity, ERP systems, and project management.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing IT functions within a wholesale and retail environment. They must be able to develop and implement technology strategies that align with business objectives and provide leadership and direction to the IT team.

The IT Systems Director will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, as well as managing hardware and software procurement. They must also implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect the company's data and systems.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and excellent leadership and communication skills. The successful candidate will be able to develop and execute IT strategies that align with business objectives and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement technology strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the IT team, ensuring efficient and effective operation of all IT systems and business operations.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure.
  • Manage hardware and software procurement, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compatibility with business needs.
  • Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect the company's data and systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in IT management, preferably in a wholesale and retail setting.
  • Experience with ERP applications, preferably Epicor.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute IT strategies that align with business objectives.
