About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CSSD Supervisor to join our team at Newcastle Private Hospital. As a key member of our Perioperative Services area, you will be responsible for the operational management of our CSSD Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advocate for our Quality Management System and promote a safe work environment
  • Support your team to achieve streamlined operational management
  • Meet relevant standards and best practices consistent with the CSSD specialty area
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years' experience working in a senior role within a CSSD
  • Certificate III or IV in Sterilisation
  • Sound knowledge of accreditation standards ACHS/AS/NZ 4187 Standards and HICMR
  • Demonstrated ability to show leadership and the ability to work with a wide range of people in a team environment
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills - including MS office and various data bases
  • An interest in promoting best practice patient care
  • A focus on professional development
