Maintenance Strategist Role

Our organization is seeking an experienced Maintenance Strategist to lead the maintenance team and develop strategies to ensure optimal production at a leading manufacturing site.

  • OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
  • Machine reliability
  • Uptime
  • Stoppages reduction
  • OH&S (Occupational Health and Safety) compliance

You will be responsible for conducting in-depth machine analysis to predict and prevent issues, managing the lifecycle of site assets, and developing and training the maintenance team in fault-finding techniques.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A trade certificate in mechanical or electrical trades
  • Experience working in fast-paced manufacturing, preferably in the FMCG sector
  • Extensive experience developing and implementing maintenance strategies
  • Formal qualifications in Root Cause Analysis, CI methodologies, 5S, Lean, and/or Six Sigma
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
