About the Job

As a systems professional, you will play a key role in ensuring that our mission-critical systems meet the operational needs of our users.

  • Develop, integrate, and deploy secure ICT systems.
  • Collaborate with technical colleagues to provide IT support for mission planning systems.
  • Sustain, secure, and evolve ICT systems across fixed and deployed environments.
Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the development, introduction to service, sustainment, and enhancement of mission planning software and hardware.
  • Maintenance and configuration of physical servers, networking hardware, and mission planning laptops.
  • Installing, configuring, testing, and deploying software.
  • Providing support on defence strategic networks.
  • Assisting with security accreditation activities for mission planning systems.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in Defence ICT environments.
  • Skills in MS Windows platforms (including imaging, security, and server environments).
  • Administration of client operating systems (Windows 10-11).
  • Software scripting, configuration management, and Office applications.
