Agile Program Management Lead

We are seeking a skilled Program Management Lead with experience in Agile delivery environments to join our team.

About the Role:

As a Program Management Lead, you will be responsible for providing critical support across a complex Agile delivery environment focused on the establishment of a new data platform, migrating data products and data sources to the new platform, and other associated activities.

  • Develop and maintain a program-level integrated plan connecting strategic milestones to Agile backlogs and workstream outputs.
  • Establish and lead cost and effort estimation models across the program to support tracking of budget, forecast, actuals, and earned value.
  • Maintain visibility of interdependencies, especially those across outside of the scope of the existing program, and adjacent programs or business units.
  • Support milestone tracking and schedule management across multiple Agile teams, ensuring critical path activities are clearly understood and managed.
  • Drive program-level governance routines, including reporting, risk and issue management, change control, and decision escalation.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Release Train Engineers, Finance, and Strategy functions to align delivery with business outcomes.
  • Help establish or improve tooling and data sources to support integrated views of progress, performance, and financials.
  • Provide stakeholder management and communication support, particularly to senior executives and external partners.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a PMO or Program Management role within large-scale Agile delivery environments (preferably SAFe).
  • Strong grasp of Agile practices and ceremonies, and how they integrate with traditional program and portfolio management disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain integrated delivery plans across complex, multi-team programs.
  • Experience managing or modelling costs, forecasts, and resource effort at task and capability levels.
  • Skilled in using tools such as Azure Dev Ops and MS Project, or equivalent for planning and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Comfortable operating in highly dynamic environments, where flexibility and initiative are key.
