We are seeking an experienced Payroll and Human Resources Advisor to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent role that will provide the opportunity to learn and undertake a range of payroll functions.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in human resources with at least 3 years' experience in delivering end-to-end HR services within a blue-collar, production or transport and logistics environment.

Responsibilities will include supporting the Payroll Specialist in the timely and accurate processing of all weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for two entities with multiple enterprise agreements.

Additionally, the candidate will support the HR team in implementing the HR strategy, including employee relations, performance improvement, recognition, and employee engagement.

They will also be responsible for end-to-end recruitment of production/operations roles, providing advice on HR and payroll policies, processes, and procedures.

Key skills and qualifications required for this role include:

  • Tertiary qualification in human resources
  • At least 3 years' experience in delivering end-to-end HR services within a blue-collar, production or transport and logistics environment
  • Experience in interpreting legislation, awards, and EBA's would be an advantage
  • Demonstrated sound numerical skills and some broad payroll experience, knowledge would be advantageous
