Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Services Assistant to join our team at Healthscope. As a key member of our food services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and assembly of patient meals, adhering to strict food safety and hygiene guidelines.
  • Deliver and serve patient meals, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Contribute to the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and utensils, including dish and pot washing.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to promote a positive and professional work environment.
Essential Criteria
  • Australian work authority.
  • Working with Children check (if applicable).
  • Experience in aged care or hospital environments (desirable).
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a 7-day roster.
