Quality Assurance Specialist RoleJob Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all products meet our high-quality standards throughout the production cycle. This includes reviewing samples and production, managing product compliance, and confirming that care labels, packaging, and other identifiers align with industry standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and approve pre-production and shipment samples to ensure they meet quality specifications, compliance requirements, and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to address potential issues before production starts and verify that samples adhere to company quality and regulatory standards.
  • Identify, monitor, and resolve QC issues by conducting regular calls with factories and performing quality checks.
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance manuals for product development and production in alignment with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Oversee and provide training to factories on correct submission and application of care labels, swing tags, and packaging to ensure products meet branding, regulatory, and customer guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate should have a proven track record in quality assurance within an apparel company or a similar role in manufacturing. Familiarity with offshore factories is also essential. The following skills are required:

  • Proven experience working with quality testing protocols, compliance standards, and product labeling requirements.
  • Familiarity with garment construction, fabric, and cutting knowledge for garment production.
  • Strong analytical abilities, particularly in identifying and resolving quality issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and time management skills.
  • Adaptability and self-motivation.
  • A bonus if you have proven experience as a pattern maker and/or sound understanding of technical pattern making and grading principles.
