About this role

As a Care Services Worker, you will play a pivotal role in prioritising the well-being of our residents. This casual position is ideal for someone who wants to make a positive impact and become part of a close-knit team.

The successful candidate will be working mainly across 7am to 4pm - Monday to Friday. We are seeking candidates living in Mount Barker or the surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities
  • Supporting and assisting Home Care recipients with activities of daily living, including mobility, continence management, showering, dressing, personal grooming, medication prompting
  • Where required, assisting with meal preparation
  • Provision of domestic and laundry services to care recipients
  • Transporting care recipients to appointments (e.g. medical)
  • Social Support and Shopping assistance
Essential skills and qualifications
  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (or equivalent)
  • Full Drivers Licence, Comprehensive Insurance and Reliable Transport
  • National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain)
  • Prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment, including Drug and Alcohol Testing
