Lead Risk Management Consultant

Position Overview:
The Senior Risk Consultant plays a pivotal role in client engagement and is responsible for mentoring junior team members within the division. This position entails a focus on Internal Audit, Controls Assurance, and Risk Management consulting, while also generating comprehensive documentation and reports for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple internal audit, control assurance, and risk management consulting projects concurrently, collaborating with various team members for each engagement, including planning, execution, and staff scheduling;
- Assist in formulating client deliverables such as strategic internal audit plans and scope documents;
- Oversee the execution of fieldwork and the documentation of findings, ensuring the audit file is maintained;
- Identify issues and findings, contributing to the drafting of client reports;
- Support business development initiatives within the firm;
- Coordinate with other departments;
- Address technical challenges and assist in preparing technical position papers;
- Facilitate the development of team members;
- Assist in managing and coordinating the internal audit team, including training, mentoring, and ensuring compliance with methodologies.
Educational Background:
Essential:
- Relevant tertiary degree and/or qualification.
Desirable:
- Relevant certification or professional membership.
Required Experience & Attributes:
Essential:
- 2-3 years of professional practice experience;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Meticulous attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively;
- Proficient in resource utilization to enhance engagement outcomes through effective self-management;
- Deliver exceptional service in response to client needs;
- Manage a client portfolio, ensuring timely responses to all client requirements;
- Knowledge and application of practice development skills.
