Internship Overview

This internship will provide opportunities to work directly with experienced engineers in support of our business units. The internship is a 15-week, full-time commitment.

About the Role

This position is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge space technologies. As a Structural & Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and testing mechanical systems, propulsion systems, and structures.

Your primary focus will be on applied mechanical/structural engineering projects, which may involve aspects such as design, analysis, and test of mechanical systems, propulsion systems, and structures.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • You must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.
  • Completed at least one year of full-time coursework post high school graduation at the time of application (obtained sophomore standing).
  • Available to work full time for a minimum of 15 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
  • Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for space.
