Lead AI and Data Transformation

This is an exciting opportunity to take charge of driving AI-powered product capabilities and turning data into tangible business outcomes. As the Lead AI and Data, you will oversee a team of experts in AI/ML, Data Engineering, and Data Science.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and communicate a long-term strategy for AI and Data, aligning it with business objectives and delivering measurable results.
  • Implement outcome-based goals, quarterly reviews, and investment assessments to ensure seamless delivery and identify potential roadblocks.
  • Establish and enforce data governance standards, including data lineage, quality service level agreements, feature management, model registries, training pipelines, and observability.
  • Institutionalize responsible AI practices, encompassing risk assessment, explainability, bias monitoring, and human-in-the-loop feedback mechanisms.
  • Foster a high-performing team by recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent; set the benchmark for hiring and operational rhythms for a remote Australian organization.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with cloud, data, and AI vendors, as well as research groups, while representing the organization's AI and Data interests with customers and executives.
