The Marketing and Communications Specialist will be responsible for the effective tactical execution of key marketing activity and campaigns to deliver the marketing objectives for the centre and to drive the best customer experience for the centre's trade area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing Strategy and Planning
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies and plans to achieve business objectives
    • Conduct market research and analysis to inform marketing decisions
  • Event Planning and Execution
    • Plan and execute events, campaigns, and activations to engage customers and drive sales
    • Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audio-visual equipment
  • Content Creation and Distribution
    • Develop and distribute marketing content, including social media posts, email newsletters, and press releases
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency and accuracy of marketing messaging
  • Customer Engagement and Retention
    • Develop and implement customer engagement and retention strategies to drive loyalty and repeat business
    • Monitor and analyze customer feedback and sentiment to inform marketing decisions
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including centre management, leasing, and customer service teams

Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably in a retail or shopping centre environment
  • Skills
    • Strong marketing and communications skills, including event planning, content creation, and customer engagement
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed marketing decisions
  • Education
    • Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or a related field
