The Individual Placement and Support Program (IPS) provides vocational assistance to young people with mental illness up to the age of 25, who are at risk of long-term welfare dependency because they disengage from employment and/or education.

Our goal is to improve the employment and education outcomes for these young people using the IPS model.

  • Collaborate with support staff to facilitate employment or educational pathways for young people.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to help young people navigate their mental health challenges and achieve their individual goals.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience supporting someone with mental health challenges.
  • Ability to use your personal experience aligned with mental health challenges to help young people seeking work and study.
  • Previous employment experience in any sector (desired).
  • Knowledge of the Individual Placement and Support Program (desired).
