Job Description:

We seek a highly technical database reliability engineer to join our data services team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our database systems, ensuring high availability and performance of critical business data.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in large-scale distributed systems, cloud-based critical systems, and operating databases in kubernetes.

You will work closely with engineering and customer support to troubleshoot time-sensitive production issues and develop infrastructure services to support our full devops model.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the data components, including Cassandra, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Kafka, Zookeeper, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Operate and automate properly configured clusters using scripting in Python and bash.
  • Develop infrastructure services to support the crowdstrike engineering team's pursuit of a full devops model.
  • Work closely with engineering and customer support to troubleshoot time-sensitive production issues, regardless of when they happen.
