About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and versatile engineer to join our team.

  • Maintain and improve production machinery and systems for optimal operational performance.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems across various production lines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background from a production environment, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of production equipment and machinery.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment faults in a timely manner.
  • Perform upgrades and installations of new machinery and systems.
  • Work closely with production teams to identify areas for improvement and increased efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and machine performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.

A qualified engineer with a relevant mechanical or electrical qualification (e.g., HNC, HND, or equivalent).

Proven experience in a similar engineering role within a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of relevant engineering principles and practices.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call cover as required.

Knowledge of food manufacturing processes and standards is an advantage.
