Job Summary

The Loan Doc & Proc Analyst 1 is a trainee professional role that requires a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures, and systems used in carrying out assigned tasks. This role involves reviewing loan documentation, providing support to various tasks related to the loan process, and independently processing and closing loans within a complex loans operation environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review loan documentation and provide support to various tasks related to the loan process.
  • Independently process and close loans within a complex loans operation environment.
  • Provide day-to-day collateral management, including booking cash transactions and making payments, inputting general ledger entries, and performing complex calculations.
  • Interact with other counterparties around positions and outstanding balances/claims.
  • Support an expansive and/or diverse array of products/services.
  • Follow established procedures to identify and resolve problems related to loan documentation/processing activities that require investigation or research and make recommendations to management to support process improvement.
  • Design and analyze moderately complex loan documentation reports for management requirements, support/control activities, and the launch of products/services.
  • Make evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information and provide assistance in the implementation of loan documentation process improvements.
  • Minimize risk to the bank through increased knowledge of procedural requirements, understand and monitor errors to suggest solutions to reduce errors, and adhere to audit and control policies.
  • Timely management and escalation of all inquiries and issues related to loan processing.
  • Demonstrate a sound level of understanding of products and processes and of how duties relate/integrate with others in the team and closely related teams.
  • Demonstrate an excellent knowledge of Bank-related systems.
  • Have direct interaction with external customers to disseminate or explain information.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in a relevant industry.
  • Proactive with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members within and outside of own team.
  • Can work well under pressure and multi-task with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to perform well in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Education
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
