Job Description: Ensuring accurate retention and disposal of closed matters involves moving them to the archive folder and creating a paper profile to link to the retention and disposal authority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Maintaining documents scanned under the Early Digitisation process, including accurate naming, profiling, and linking to the retention and disposal authority.">
  • Providing timely collection and distribution of mail, including managing cash/cheques by post book (audited by Finance at the end of each month).">
  • Distributing mail both electronically and physically, archiving DCPL mail immediately, processing outgoing mail daily through the online Australia Post system, and preparing Express, Registered, and International Express post.">
  • Providing accurate and timely time frames for couriers, including arranging quotes for teams to approve.">
  • Assisting legal staff with filing and serving legal documents on solicitors, barristers, doctors, businesses, and other persons within Brisbane CBD.">
  • Monitoring the status of legal files for closure, securing and clearly identifying files with declared conflicts of interest, completing the daily new matters report, and organising legal files back from Grace Management as required.">
  • Utilising software to support Records Management.">
