About the RoleThis position involves partnering with Procurement and other business areas to manage ICT spend categories across Melbourne Water's external environment.
- Develop strategic plans to identify and maximize procurement efficiencies and value generation in ICT categories.
- Contribute to the development and management of annual and 5-year procurement strategic opportunities plans for ICT categories.
- Collaborate with the Sourcing Delivery and Contract teams to optimize procurement sourcing, contract management, and performance.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial or public sector environments, preferably with knowledge of public sector procurement.
A degree in Supply Chain and Logistics or Information Technology is required, along with a tertiary qualification in commercial management and MCIPS certification.
