Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager to join our team.

This exciting opportunity involves collaborating closely with senior academics, industry partners, defence and university to support the development and execution of high-level project plans and resourcing requirements.

The successful candidate will bring their refined stakeholder engagement skills to succeed in the role, alongside technical knowledge of the project management life cycle.

Main Responsibilities
  • Proven advanced project management experience, with an in-depth understanding of the project life cycle and strategic development of project plans, objectives and documentation.
  • Experience with managing the delivery of strategic projects.
  • Excellent consultation, influencing and negotiation skills and proven ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success working effectively and collaboratively on initiatives with a range of people at different levels within an organisation.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
Key Qualifications
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training.
  • The successful candidate may be required to hold or attain an Australian government security clearance.
