About the Role

We are seeking experienced Perinatal Mental Health Clinicians to join our team at Gidget Foundation Australia. As a Perinatal Mental Health Clinician, you will be responsible for delivering face-to-face psychological support to women and their partners at our Gidget House, Rockhampton.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence-based therapies to expectant and new parents with perinatal mental health issues.
  • Work within a recovery-oriented model, utilising a person/family centred approach.
  • Develop and maintain effective caseload management.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • AHPRA registration with endorsements in psychology or accreditation as a mental health social worker.
  • At least 3 years post-registration experience, with specific experience working with perinatal clients or in a complementary field.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently under approved professional supervision.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
