Job Description

As an Employment Consultant, you will provide comprehensive case management services to participants to assist them to manage employment-related barriers. You will help each participant to secure sustainable employment and engage employers through referrals, reverse marketing, and on-the-job support.

  • Develop strategies to address employment-related barriers and improve participant outcomes.
  • Collaborate with employers to create job opportunities for participants and provide ongoing support to ensure successful employment.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of participant progress and outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to connect participants with wrap-around services such as training providers, allied health services, and community-based organizations.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in areas such as employment services, community services, or other relevant fields.
  • Previous experience in employment services, including advanced barrier management, reverse marketing, placement of candidates into employment, and provision of post-placement support.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • A team player with a personal commitment to contribute to a positive culture.
  • Ability to proactively problem-solve, overcome objections, and assist in managing barriers that exist for people living with a disability.
  • Performance-focused mindset and proven experience achieving business targets and KPIs.
  • Valid driver's license required for travel throughout the region.
