About the Role:
This key position is responsible for delivering expert, evidence-based occupational therapy to individuals experiencing mental health crises. The role involves providing timely and person-centred interventions that promote recovery and wellbeing.
- As a leader within the team, you will offer clinical supervision, guidance, and mentorship to junior staff, supporting their ongoing professional development.
- Engage with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of holistic, integrated, and high-quality care.
- Lead quality improvement projects and research initiatives, helping to shape and evolve the service to remain at the forefront of innovative mental health care.
About You:
- You hold a degree in Occupational Therapy and registration as an OT with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency, showcasing your expertise within the field.
- Passionate about delivering person-centred care to individuals in crisis.
- Able to travel across the District and other external sites as required.
- Skilled in managing complex cases using advanced clinical reasoning and independent judgment.
- Committed to continuous improvement through quality initiatives and research involvement.
