CareFlight is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Facilities Trainee to join our Human Resources team in Darwin. As a Facilities Trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in facilities administration, working closely with our Facilities and Fleet Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with managing facilities and equipment servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Carry out equipment and property audits and inspections.
  • Assist with tasks as required by the Property Officer.
  • Supervise contractors working on CareFlight facilities.
  • Assist with maintaining deployment/emergency kits and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
  • A sound knowledge of Indigenous culture, society, and kinship networks.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • A willingness to be trained in all areas of administration within Northern Operations.
  • A proactive approach to the work and teaching environments for successful completion of Certificate III in Business.
