Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Business Insights Professional to join our Customer Insights team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing comprehensive analyses and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders using impactful visualisation techniques.

The Business Insights Professional will play a crucial role in our team, serving as the Centre of Excellence (CoE) for analytics functions across the business. As a strategic partner for the business, we provide stakeholders with data and insights to help identify opportunities, assess outcomes, drive decisions, and understand their impacts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop analytics reporting to understand customer behaviour, channel use, customer segments, product value, social media, and lifetime value.
  • Gather and proactively anticipate stakeholder requirements for developing assets that produce tangible business benefits.
  • Manage data discovery and manipulation, working with and transforming customer/business data to improve usability and assess quality and viability of intended research.
  • Undertake data mining, complex database queries, data cleaning, and data exploration activities.
  • Utilise best practice data visualisation techniques to powerfully convey insights and facilitate data discovery.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within business units to improve service, reduce costs, and manage risk within appetite.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong business acumen, influencing skills, and ability to produce insights with clear articulation of findings to stakeholders across the business and at all levels of management.
  • Experience in Channels domain would be highly advantageous.
  • Ability to take ownership, be autonomous, but also seek assistance when required.
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS SQL/Teradata, SAS (Enterprise Guide and SAS Macros), and Excel.
  • Strong working knowledge of Tableau/Power BI.
  • Desirable: experience with Python, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure Cloud.
  • Highly analytical, problem-solving, lateral thinking, and interpretive skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric focus on delivery and meeting outcomes.
