At Accor, we are seeking a passionate and driven individual to take on the role of Restaurant Operations Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of our hospitality business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring a memorable experience at all times.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient food and beverage service, anticipating guest needs before being asked.
  • Assign tasks to team members, maximizing productivity and rotation of job duties.
  • Conduct pre-service and post-service briefings, ensuring team members are well-prepared and informed.
  • Support the Head of Department in training and developing team members, ensuring they receive ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Maintain par levels and order stock as required, ensuring the department is well-stocked and operating within budgetary guidelines.
  • Monitor rosters and ensure the department is staffed appropriately, in accordance with legislation and business levels.
  • Have a strong understanding of licensing and operating legislation, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Complete operational reports on a daily basis, establishing workable records of the department's history for future forecasting.
  • Ensure food items offered in the outlet are of a consistent standard, providing feedback to the Chef on sales, wastage, menu changes, or special requests.
  • Establish and maintain open channels of communication between departments, ensuring the smooth operation of the department.
  • Ensure the department is consistently ready for service at the scheduled operating times.
  • Perform the reconciliation of daily takings, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ensure team members have a strong product knowledge of ingredients, method of preparation, and presentation of all items on the menu and buffet.
  • Ensure team members have strong product knowledge of all wine styles on the outlet wine list.
  • Ensure all opening and closing procedures are carried out to an acceptable standard.
  • Promptly report any maintenance work required in the proximity of the outlet to the Head of Department.
  • Assist guests with all enquiries and complaints, providing accurate information about Property facilities and features.

Requirements:

  • The possession of a current RSA is essential.
  • A strong understanding of the day-to-day operations of running a restaurant.
  • A passion for sequence of service and a desire to create an amazing experience for every single customer.
  • A person who is both an invaluable team player and a well-rounded leader.

Base Hourly Rate: $27.83 equivalent to $54,992.08 - $60,000 based on working days and penalties applicable as per the Hospitality Industry General Award.
