To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a Control Room Operator (Temporary – 6 months contract) to join our team.

The Role: Reporting to the Control Room Lead, purpose of the role is to operate safely and efficiently from the Brisbane based Central Control Room (CCR) as part of the Arrow Operations Centre. Competently operate Surat Basin assets including CSG wells, gas and water gathering networks, gas processing and compression, gas transmission, water treatment facilities and Power generation.

This is a Brisbane based position and will require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.

In addition, you will:

• Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow's values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.

• Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.

• Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.

• Ensure safe on-site operations of gas compression, water treatment and power generation assets with the aim to maximise availability and production

• Optimise production process to ensure sales gas and water specifications are met.

• Maximise the utilisation of Arrows Surat assets to meet production targets/nominations

• Provide technical support and stand in as the Senior Control Room Operator to provide coverage as required.

• Work flexible shift patterns, including Nightshift, as required to meet operational requirements.

About You

You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous operational experience working in heavy industry, complex continuous process plant, ideally within oil and gas.

• A Cert III PMA08 Process Plant Operation or UEG30211 Certificate III in Gas Supply Industry Operations, or Cert IV PMA08 Process Plant Technology (or PMA 40113); OR Trade Certificate in Instrument, Electrical or Mechanical Fitting (would be highly regarded).

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with a control room environment including management of process upset conditions, process event reporting and troubleshooting.

• Alarm management and operations monitoring of process control systems.
