Room Allocation Specialist

The Room Allocation Specialist is a vital role in ensuring the satisfaction of all guests, by processing room inventory and allocations to meet their needs while driving business results.

You will collaborate with the Welcome Manager on daily operations, making strategic decisions for the unit in their absence, always aligning with the hotel's philosophies, standards and procedures.

This is an ideal role for those with exceptional attention to detail and who thrive in a fast-paced environment where they can leverage their multi-tasking skills.

Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent guest experiences are essential. You will be a key team player with a focus on strategic planning and analytical thinking.

  • Drive adoption of the Mobile Check-in and Out platform among guests, and action requests as required.
  • Assign rooms based on guest preferences whenever possible.
  • Accommodate room changes when feasible.
  • Notify relevant staff about available rooms.
  • Coordinate with Style to track room readiness and report guest concerns.
  • Review out-of-order rooms daily to determine status and estimated return to inventory.
  • Verify and adjust guest billing.
