About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Planning Coordinator to join our team at Tourism Tasmania. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of our marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the marketing planning function and provide day-to-day marketing coordination and support to the Marketing Planning Manager and marketing team.
  • Meet with key stakeholders to discuss marketing opportunities and develop strategies to leverage the Tourism Tasmania marketing program.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans and campaigns, including budget management and tracking.
  • Provide administrative support for marketing projects and initiatives, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify and capitalize on new marketing opportunities and trends.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in project management and coordination, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles and practices, with a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
