Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support, supervision, and coaching to the team of Therapeutic Youth Workers
  • Manage and maintain rosters and appropriate staffing levels
  • Day-to-day coordination of the care of children and young people
  • Coordinate and monitor the implementation of documentation, plans, and reviews
  • Ensure quality life story work by the Therapeutic Youth Workers
  • Manage informal and formal complaints and feedback
  • Ensure mandatory internal and external reporting occurs
About You

We are seeking an experienced manager with a strong background in working with children and young people in out of home care. You will have a proven track record of managing staff who regularly face crisis situations and have the ability to work within relevant legislation, Out of Home Care Standards, policies, and procedures.

You will also have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team. A current driver's license and willingness to work outside of business hours are also essential.
