Therapeutic Caregiver

Lifestyle Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Live-in Carer to join our team. As a Therapeutic Live-in Carer, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive impact on the lives of the children and young people in our care.

Our Therapeutic Live-in Carers work with children and young people who have experienced trauma and require a safe and nurturing environment to develop and thrive. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a range of support services, including household duties, emotional support, and helping the young person to achieve their goals.

We are looking for someone who is a natural people-person, empathetic, and committed to ensuring the best outcomes for our children and young people. If you thrive on responsibility, are calm under pressure, and have a knack for clear communication, you will fit right in with our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for the young person to develop and thrive
• Support the young person to achieve their goals and develop their skills and abilities
• Manage household duties, including cleaning, washing, and meal preparation
• Monitor and report health issues for each child or young person and respond to their individual health needs
• Work collaboratively with the child or young person's school to identify barriers to positive engagement in education and facilitate learning from home activities
