Central Coast Council is seeking a skilled Digital and Website Officer to join our team

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and implementing our digital media and website services, including content management, web design and development, and video production.

About the Role:

  • Maintain and improve our six websites, including implementing website development, content management, and integration enhancements with other Council systems.
  • Manage the digital Help Desk, responding to enquiries, resolving issues, and reporting tasks to external providers.
  • Develop and implement digital and website activities, including social networking, podcast development, online advertising, and search engine optimization.
  • Assist in creating engaging digital content, such as videos, and coordinate with external providers as needed.

About You:

  • You have a Diploma of Applied Information Technology or Cert IV in Information Technology (web development) and sound experience in a similar role.
  • You are technically savvy, with experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and content management systems.
  • You have experience in video production and analytical skills across digital platforms.
  • You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
