
Advanced Controls Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the design, development, implementation, and commissioning of advanced control system solutions. As a Senior Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for defining project requirements, developing clear scopes of work, and collaborating with clients to ensure successful outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement control system solutions that meet or exceed client expectations
- Liaise with clients to define project requirements and develop clear scopes of work
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and commissioning of advanced control system solutions
- Provide expert-level technical support and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Promote and contribute to a culture focused on health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ)
Requirements:
- A minimum of five years' experience in control systems engineering within heavy industry or similar environments
- Strong client engagement skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
- Proven experience with control systems, automation platforms, and industrial communication networks
Preferred Qualifications and Attributes:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in programming and commissioning control systems
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- A proactive, safety-conscious mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
