Job Title: Quality Control Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join our team in the North Bowen Basin. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality results and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and have a strong focus on safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collecting and preparing production and train samples
  • Performing analytical tests, including proximate analysis, total sulfur, and calorific value determinations
  • Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring it is operating within standard operating instructions
  • Validating results to ensure they meet repeatability tolerances
  • Optimizing turnaround time while maintaining high-quality results
Essential Requirements:
  • A strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Reliability and trustworthiness
  • Previous industry experience is an advantage
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts
