Legionella Control Specialist

\

We are seeking an experienced Legionella control specialist to join our team in Mackay, Australia.

\

This role involves carrying out a range of tasks including monitoring, remedial cleaning, chemical testing and minor plumbing tasks across various client sites to meet their requirements for Legionella control program as set out in the Water Technical Manual.

\

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out plumbing tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8.
  • Maintain customer water safe logbooks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company guidelines.
  • Take water samples from multiple sector properties and document these samples in line with the Water Technical Manual guidance.
  • Complete and submit all documentation relating to the work carried out in a timely manner.
  • Carry out water system clean and disinfections in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 with guidance for the Water Technical Manual.

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 2 in Plumbing with 4 years+ experience is an essential minimum requirement for this role.
  • Basic IT skills, preferably with Microsoft package.
  • The ability to work under pressure, being able to manage and work to deadlines.
  • Full UK Driving License required as this is a mobile role (van provided).
