Podiatrist - Aboriginal Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Podiatrist to join our team at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress Aboriginal Corporation. As a Podiatrist, you will play a critical role in providing community-centred foot care services to our clients, including management of diabetes-related foot complications.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality podiatric services to clients, including foot care and management of diabetes-related foot complications.
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement culturally responsive podiatric services, including a community-based high risk foot clinic, outreach to remote communities, and a highly regarded regional on-call telehealth service.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and community members to ensure effective service delivery and cultural safety.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with best practices in podiatry and cultural safety.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Graduate or registered Podiatrist with a strong commitment to Aboriginal health and cultural safety.
- Experience working in a community-based setting, preferably in a remote or rural area.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and community members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and cultural safety.
