Statewide Partnership Group Leadership Position

The role of Chair is available in the statewide partnership group. This position will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of SPG meetings and facilitating discussion among all members.
- Agree on working procedures with SPG members
- Establish the forward plan and meeting agenda for SPG meetings
- Chair SPG meetings
- Confirm decisions and next steps arising from the group's discussion
- Finalise the partnership communique coming out of SPG meetings
The aim is to facilitate productive SPG meetings and encourage active participation from all members.
This role does not involve independent decision-making or policy-setting authority beyond what is outlined above.

Candidates should have experience as a chair or organisational leader and a good understanding of family violence and child, young person and family wellbeing issues.
Additionally, the appointment of the Chair will be subject to government probity requirements.
Time Commitment:Aside from preparation and scheduled meetings, the Chair will also meet individually with group members during induction and annually after that.
Some travel within Victoria may be required.
