Job Title:

Referral Processing Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Referral Processing Officer to join our team in the Contracting and Performance Management Branch, Healthcare Purchasing and System Performance. This is a permanent full-time opportunity to process referrals within the Surgery Connect Program and support the Manager by providing training and support to HHSs in the implementation of the program's strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process referrals within the Surgery Connect Program
  • Support the Manager by providing training and support to HHSs in the implementation of the program's strategic initiatives
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology used to deliver patient-centred activities would be highly regarded
  • Knowledge and experience with database utilisation and patient management systems would be highly regarded
  • The ability to successfully manage a range of activities with conflicting timeframes
