We are seeking an individual who will play a vital role in enhancing the vocational opportunities of our employees while ensuring commercial outcomes are achieved. With your natural ability to lead with empathy, you will oversee and guide employees that we support, to meet their employment goals, ensuring their work aligns with their skills, aspirations and NDIS plans while delivering exceptional production outcomes.

Your daily tasks may include:
  • Motivating and mentoring a diverse workforce, fostering a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with WHS policies and procedures.
  • Supervising and guiding employees that we support to meet NDIS goals and commercial outcomes.
  • Promoting positive behaviour support and a collaborative team culture.
  • Conducting skills training, assessments and performance reviews in collaboration with Employment Coaches.
  • Ensuring production meets customer expectations regarding quality, delivery timeframes and business requirements.
  • Monitoring operations to ensure they meet production standards, adjusting process as needed.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a truck or forklift licence, previous experience in a production environment and a proven ability to coordinate projects and delegate activities to a diverse team. Experience in disability support is highly regarded. You will also require demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, a genuine commitment to the purpose and values of the organisation and a natural empathetic nature. Furthermore, you must hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, National Criminal History Check and an open Drivers Licence.
