Project Cost Estimator Role


,In this position, you will work on estimating and controlling costs for complex projects. Your focus will be on identifying and addressing non-routine cost engineering challenges.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform in-depth cost estimations and analyses.
  • Implement cost monitoring and control standards.
  • Develop and review cost reports to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Support the preparation of budgets according to established guidelines.
  • Investigate requirements for estimating and cost control data.
  • Collect and classify cost data.
  • Analyze and allocate budget resources effectively.


Requirements and Skills:
A bachelor's degree or equivalent, along with 2-5 years of experience in project cost engineering, including cost control and analysis, or a combination of education and relevant experience totaling 6-9 years is required. You must have knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up processes as performed by Bechtel. Additionally, you should possess low to intermediate level of knowledge of engineering and construction management, customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience.
