The engine watchkeeper plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the ship's mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain the engine room in accordance with the Chief Engineer's instructions.
  • Conduct regular deck maintenance and inspections as required by the Chief Engineer.
  • Evaluate and optimize the performance of propulsion, auxiliary, and ancillary machinery for maximum efficiency.
  • Manage and maintain Self Unloading machinery and equipment.
  • Assist with other duties and responsibilities assigned by the company management.

Our ideal candidate will possess experience working on vessels with propulsion power exceeding 750 kilowatts and hold certifications such as STCW, Work Safely at Heights, and Confined Space Certification. A Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) is also mandatory.
