Equipment Maintenance Strategist

Pilbara Minerals is a leading Australian company in the lithium market.
Our Pilgangoora Operation is one of the largest hard-rock lithium operations globally.
The Mechanical Asset Management Specialist will develop and implement a robust asset management program to ensure safe and productive operation of equipment, meeting business unit goals.
This position will be based at our West Perth office with bi-monthly travel to our Pilgangoora Operation in the Pilbara region.
Main responsibilities include:
- Conducting Criticality Ranking reviews and contributing findings.
- Reviewing and approving preventative maintenance routines based on Criticality Ranking, FMECA, and manufacturers recommendations.
- Leading the development of maintenance contract services scope of work and repair standards.
- Validating vendor equipment data and ensuring accurate tag numbers are displayed on documents.
- Providing input for KPI tracking for Operations Readiness.
The ideal candidate will have fixed plant mechanical experience in a mining processing plant environment (minimum expectation of 5 years), good understanding of preventative and corrective maintenance concepts, and experience with FMECA, Criticality, RCM, or Root Cause Analysis.
