Equipment Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an essential member of our Fixed Plant Maintenance team, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of our equipment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for completing daily preventative and corrective lubrication tasks, updating our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), and following a structured maintenance schedule to minimize equipment downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and document equipment conditions to enable timely corrective actions.
- Process oil samples for analysis and maintain automated lubrication systems to facilitate predictive maintenance.
- Perform regular greasing of rotating equipment components, filter replacements, and Perma Lube inspections.
- Execute oil top-offs and/or change-outs on hydraulic and mineral oil lubrication units.
- Apply acoustic greasing techniques to extend equipment lifespan.
You will also manage hydrocarbon storage and waste, collaborate with other departments to optimize operational efficiency, and maintain accurate records of activities and inventories in our CMMS.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Unrestricted C-Class Driver's License.
- HR License, Forklift, Dogging, Rigging HRWL desirable.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals, drawings, and hydraulic schematics beneficial.
- Experience in wet processing facilities, including knowledge of conveyor systems, crushers, screens, pumps, Scrubbing & Screening, Fixed Rail Balance Machines, and train load outs.
- Competence in using computerized programs like SAP and Microsoft Suite.
- ISO Lubrication Analysis Category 1 desirable.
