Job Summary

Windermere Child and Family Services is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our Early Intervention and Therapy Services team. As a key worker, you will play a pivotal role in providing support to children aged 0-12 with complex disabilities and developmental delays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with families to assess needs and develop tailored intervention plans
  • Utilize a coaching approach to facilitate family confidence in implementing strategies and supports
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support individual consumer caseloads
  • Provide direct speech therapy support and strategies to children aged 7-12 years
  • Participate in monthly graduate meetings for case study review and professional development
  • Engage in fortnightly supervisions/mentoring sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualified in Speech Pathology with current and ongoing registration with SPA
  • Knowledge and experience in assessing children with complex disabilities and developmental delays
  • Ability to build trusting working relationships with children and families
  • Openness to continuous quality improvement and ongoing learning
  • Current Victorian Drivers' Licence
  • Right to Work in Australia
