About this role
The finance team is looking for a skilled analyst to support financial planning and analysis, internal management reporting, and ASX financial reporting.
As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering timely and cost-effective financial information for our projects.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and delivery of financial analysis for a group of assets.
2. Supporting key Group year end and half year processes.
3. Working with stakeholders to produce and review monthly Asset Performance Reports.
4. Preparing monthly financial reports and operating activities for the Joint Venture.
5. Assisting with preparation of forecasts and budgets.
6. Providing assistance to the Asset Teams and Financial Services with accounting and reporting matters.
7. Acting as a focal point of contact with the Joint venture partners.
About you
Applicants should have experience in finance within the energy sector, preferably with project accounting.
You should have sound knowledge of Accounting Standards and experience in financial report writing.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems such as SAP is highly advantageous.
Good communication skills and confidence in engaging with stakeholders are necessary.
Flexibility, resilience, and agility in meeting changing business demands are also essential.
