Age Care Professional Trainee

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Age Care Professional to join our team in a part-time traineeship opportunity. This exciting program is designed for individuals who are passionate about supporting older Australians to live their best life possible.
The role involves working with our aged care centre team, providing exceptional care and support to our residents. You will also have the opportunity to undertake a Certificate III in Individual Support qualification while gaining on-the-job experience and secure employment in a rapidly growing industry.
- Supporting older Australians to maintain their independence and dignity
- Providing individualised care and support to meet the unique needs of each resident
- Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care services
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- Basic computer skills and digital literacy
- Able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week, including availability on Thursdays for study
- Flexibility and adaptability to work varied shifts, including weekends and late afternoons
- Empathy, compassion, and strong communication skills to build relationships with residents and colleagues
