About Ettalong Diggers and the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef De Partie to join our culinary team at Ettalong Diggers. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in the preparation and cooking of food for our members, guests, and staff.

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be required to work closely with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards and that our customers receive an outstanding dining experience.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards, adhering to our quality and safety protocols.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to plan and prepare menus, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to the highest standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols and procedures.
  • Assist with the ordering and stock control of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to deliver our menu.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer feedback and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • AQF Commercial Cookery Qualifications (minimum certificate III), Certificate IV, Diploma or Advance Diploma or associate degree.
  • At Least three years of work experience in a similar role.
  • A current NSW Competency Card with RSA and RCG qualifications is preferred due to being within a licensed premises.
What We Offer
